I'm looking at the Mule 4010, does anyone have experience with these? I know it tops out at 25 mph and I'm ok with that.

I've had 6 and no bad experiences with any. Think they are the toughest of the SXS's.

I've got a 2005 mule 3010, and the only thing wrong with it is that it won't stop working. Wife says when it does I can get a new one.......but darn, I don't know if I can wait that long.
Cabin rental in Pagosa Springs, Co. Sleeps 10, If interested please PM me.

Thanks for the replies, I found a 2019 with 33 hours with a lot of addons for $13,500. Glass flip up windshield, steel roof, HD front bumper, duck rack in the bed, gun sheath's, lift kit, bigger wheels and tires. I think by the time I would pay TTL on a new stock machine it would be about the same as this well equipped Mule

We have a Mule 4010 4x4 and a Polaris Ranger. The mule is a capable machine, but is no where near as good in the mud and muck as the Ranger. If you are riding on established trails and not to extreme in the mud the Mule should do fine.

I'm looking at the Mule 4010, does anyone have experience with these? I know it tops out at 25 mph and I'm ok with that. I gave my 4010 to my sister when I bought my Kubota with a cab. The 4010 is one tough cookie. Speed for us is not an issue since you can't get to 25 mph anywhere on the ranch. A few years back a guy came to see me with his Polaris. Didn't take long and he got escorted to the gate due to trying to run too fast on our roads. Buy the 4010. You will like it.

FWIW I’ve owned a 2018 Mule Sx and traded it recently for a pro-fxt both great units. Didn’t have any issues with the sx for the couple years years I had it and never felt under powered.

I have a 4010 Trans Mule and it has been a gem.. for anyone that thinks it doesnt go fast enough, tell them to bail out at 25 and see how that works out....we have a a 1500 acre lease and can go from one end to the other in 12 minutes... Slow down and enjoy the ride.... Also Kawasaki Irving is the place to buy.. NO ONE will beat their price!!!

They are good machines. Spend the extra money and buy the Pro FX. Much larger and MUCH smoother ride.

I would not buy a 4010 unless it was a diesel. 4010 gas engine fuel injection is problematic. The 3010 was cold natured but a more reliable unit.

I bought the 4010 Trans and love it. Smoother than the small mule 610 we have by a mile and much quieter. I looked at the FX and test drove. Bigger, Smoother, need a little bigger trailer and costs more. If I had to do it again, I would probably get the FX but am happy with my 4010.
Also, FX has plastic bed and I like the steel bed of the 4010.

I haveb3010 and 4010 both very reliable if speed is not issue Both excellent for quail hunting for racing around deer lease the newer model is most likely better but at 73 years old speed is not an issue

The kawasaki mules are bullet proof. One with 2800 hours and the other with 2300 hours.
