All that corn that was piling up under the feeders has been chowed down on. Pig tracks...and big ones. The hunt is back on this afternoon. Gotta tell ya, I’m a bit excited at the prospects.

Still have some corn under ours, but not as much. The acorns have been on the slow release program this year, they just keep on falling. Good luck

Well, I’m thinking that hogs, not deer are getting my corn.

North East Texas, corn gone and finding fresh scrapes. Hope the colder weather holds a while, it was 80* earlier today.

The rut is still on. The wife said there were 3 bucks chasing a doe in the front yard (pasture) yesterday morning.

My corn is also finally getting eaten. But, cams say it’s nocturnal hogs.

Finally gave up about 8:00 p.m. wind had died down enough that the mosquitoes were becoming a problem. Odd weather for mid December.

Corn piling up here still. Not a shot fired this season. We usually kill 3-4 hogs while waiting on a buck. Not this year.

I had one feeder with a huge pile of corn visible from 200+ yards away. Poured a bunch of hog wild on it thinking the hogs would clean it up. Checked the game cam a week later after the pile was demolished. No hogs surprisingly, but lots of deer showed up. Almost like they forgot about that feeder.

My neighbor runs several traps on lots of places around here. He has them all wired open with a pile of untouched corn....nothing has been coming to his traps since the acorns started falling...

Hunt in western Palo Pinto and my lease partner was out last weekend and said the pile's of corn under the feeders are gone. Getting a lot more pictures of action around the feeder. Maybe the acorns are getting gone!

I went for a walk in the woods at our place in Navarro county last week. The acorns seemed to be pretty scarce, and we have had deer hitting our food plots.

I guess the acorns must be nearly gone. The big hog I terminated last evening came trotting out of the woods to where I throw corn at the edge of a pond. He was in a hurry. Must have been hungry.

That's a darn good sign. Nothing for me this evening.....Again. Better than sitting at the house anyday.

We still have acorns falling by the bucket load. Haven't had a legal buck around in over a month. Glad for the deer but not for me.
