Muffin was barking at the door. The last time my neighbor was selling Poinsettias for a school benefit. This time she was bearing gifts. Got an invitation for Christmas dinner. Does this happen in your neighborhood?

Out of 12 houses on our block there are 4 of us that have been living here for over 30 years. Sharing the holidays at Thanksgiving and Christmas is almost like being with family.

Don’t let Muffin get into that poinsettia... I hear they are bad for dogs Christmas flowers. Love them. Some last until March. Had them along with dogs and cats for 50 years.

I live in the country also. It takes willpower to live I'm my area. I limited my treats to 2 each day. I just finished my 3rd.

Don’t let Muffin get into that poinsettia... I hear they are bad for dogs Well here's a bit of rather dark trivia. Part of our healthcare system is a 90 bed skilled nursing facility. Regulations state that we can't have any Poinsettias out because they are poisonous plants. I know some of our residents are a bit challenged, but I really don't see them randomly eating flowers.

Just looked it up and it turns out they are only mildly poisonous to dogs. Said it might make them throw up but shouldn’t kill them.
