maybe next year... were this trail cam tis, first 200 yards tis up hill threw snow, roughly quarter mile...
Thar been 3 bucks & doe taken for
en & chillen.. Took couple mile section drives, & both times seen 50-60+
deer in that section... Snow has got the deer in groups, 15-20 & the more snow the bigger the groups get...
As have stated, tis completely differant hunting here...
Of the deer seen, from driving & glassing, very few bucks... Like the one in photo, they dont get big by showing themselves,
deer do pattern hunters, muzzle loading tis going on,
never did choot me 50 cal. & attempt
ta get it patterned in...
me shoulders too dang worn out, reason had ta quit use archery & here can use crossbow, Still prefure the .45's have in.
& right now tis buck only muzzle...
Tis nice ta see a few survive... winters here can be very harsh for wildlife... We dont have the winters (snow fall) like
back in the 60's & 70's, & temps used ta have more cooler ones,
then did live in
30+years, worked at iron foundry around melted iron, & have alien body parts, me back tis alien, me shoulders tis alien & me knees tis alien,
i 've become a sissy.
Last few days been switched over ta ice fishing, could very well do another hunt though... Will put out more trail cam's, always enjoy seeing what's wondering about the woods...
Had several nice bucks, & does close, with no shot, opportunity, or just out of range..
Some times the deer wins...Keep your head held high & your powder dry...
