Store it in the fridge. I bought a clamp top wide mouth canning jar for our drippings. Canning jars can stand the heat so you can pour your drippings in there safely.

Bacon grease is pure gold . I keep mine in the fridge in one of the containers with a screen .

We keep bacon grease in fridge. We also render duck fat when we can and keep it in the fridge. Duck fat on eggs. Duck fat on toast. Duck fat on Duck fat. mmm.


No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Keep ours in a small crock with lid next to the stove. Use on many different recipes and also to touch up seasoning on my cast iron after heat drying them.
