Day 1 – Our group of 4 shot a limit of 12 pheasants. It was my pup Remington’s first pheasant hunt. We walked 5.6 miles.




Day 2 - Our group nailed it with a limit of Canadian geese, 3 snows, and a speckle belly. Remington was our only retriever and picked up all geese.






Day 3 - A group of 4 hunters joined us for another pheasant hunt. We shot 22 of a 24 limit. We walked 9.7 miles.




Day 4 – Went after geese again to a different location with 8 hunters. Saw only about 25% from the previous hunt and just couldn’t get them to the decoys. No wind to move the socks but we managed to get 6. No geese pictures but added a couple of the location.





We had a great time!

Headed to Rockport for a 2 day Cast and Blast (Ducks and Reds) next week.

Nice hunt and good variety as well.

I believe I could lose 100lbs if we had pheasants in central Texas.

Went last weekend and someone said we walked 18K steps, but do to the throbbing pain in my legs and feet it had to be more like 36K steps. LOL

Nice looking pup. I have hunted with Terry and his crew maybe ten times over the years great guys.They had a great guide Kelly who we always requested he really worked hard and scouted for us. He has since passed away no less on Christmas day. Terry always called him his other son. Great shoot guys.
