Have a guy selling one for $400 not sure of model but is it worth it? I have zero experience and knowledge on tikkas.

It's worth $400 in any condition. You probably won't find one cheaper.

Doesn't appear that Tony has spent much time in this section of the forum, or he's trolling.
I have a Tikka T3 in 300WM and am very happy with it. So happy that I bought a CTR and convinced my brother to get a T3 in .270 for his son as well as a couple other people we hunt with. I drank the Tikka Kool Aid!

Never had one that didn't shoot..
My main hunting rifle for the last 2 seasons is a 308 CTR chopped to 16
Just got a Superlight in 7mag for larger game

I have 2 Tikka T3’s in 300 win mag and they are both very accurate, though the recoil is there with a lightweight stock

My Kimber 300 mag w/wood stock and 40 mil scope kicks less than my Tikka T3 stainless with the 40 mil scope. No (zero) doubt in my mind.
