Not sure if this is the right section but I’m looking for info on a good camera to take wildlife photos especially deer. I’m an older guy and not real hip on all the technology..... Looking for..... Ease of operation. I’m not a big computer person. Would like a good zoom also...again ease of operation is important. Would like to stay under 1K$ Thoughts on brands and models? Thanks guys

Within your budget and with the trend changing from DSLR to Mirrorless, I would suggest you go with Cannon's new EOS RP. The only thing is, that doesn't leave you with any money left over for glass. There is an alternative that has proved well from Fuji. It's called the T-30 I believe and there is a kit available with a lens in your price range.
Shoot Doug at CameralandNY a PM or call Joel, I believe he's their camera guy.
