Found it. Made it for a sit down dinner for 6 after a trip from North Dakota. Used both pheasant and sharp-tail grouse It made a decent presentation. My wild game bird plates helped with that.

I've got all the ingredients except the Vermouth. Can you help with that if if pick up the book and plates?

We had good numbers east of Spearman, lots of roosters, even more hens. Our problem is that it was too warm and this country is covered in unplowed corn stalks, too much cover.

During mule deer season in Hale and Lamb Counties I came across maybe half a dozen pheasant and zero quail. Doubt I take the GSP up for one or two birds.

Well Hereford trip part 2 was a success also. Saw prolly 100 birds throughout the day but most were bustin out too far ahead of us. Pushed 3 good size coveys of bobs too. Good times with good people. [Linked Image]
