Got a 8 point on camera that has a g2 broke off already...…….the property next to me found two bucks locked up both dead. This was early last week, looks like its starting to get right but seems early.

What part of the county?
Northern part of the county has been ramped up for the last week or so. No info on the southern portion, but it should be getting good soon if not already.

Two weeks ago we drove to our place from SA south down 37 then off on 281 S in three rivers. The deer were rutting, we traveled through prime time just before dark. Saw several decent bucks, one a damn nice one in the open field a little south of the refinery in three rivers on the west side. They were chasing for sure.

I think they will still be moving. Ours usually start around Christmas but the boys are still very interested into the first couple weeks of January.

I was in southern Live Oak County today. Just starting to see early signs of the rut. It will be on when you’re down.
