Could it be? Urban Meyer, Lincoln Riley? Could old man Jones really attract that type of talent? Yahoo LinkUrban Meyer needs a job but Lincoln Riley doesn't. In times past college coaches jumped at the chance to get into the NFL. Those times have passed. College coaches, especially those with prestigious programs, no longer seem to be biting at the bit to make that jump. OU will pay whatever is necessary to keep Riley, plus he won't have to submit to that bozo of an owner/GM. Dallas will continue losing until Jerry is gone. I agree with everything you say but I hope Jerry woe's him into the trap. Life was better when OU sucked

Doesn't matter one bit who JJ hires, as long as he is the GM! He could hire Vince Lombardi in his prime and our Cowboys would still suck unless he was willing to give that type of head coach complete control of the team, I am talking picking his own asst. coaches, drafting etc... But JJ's ego will never allow that

I honestly don't understand why any great coach would agree to work in that environment.

I really couldn't care less about the Cowboys but you Dallas fans are going to continue to be disappointed because Jerry Jones can't turn loose of the past. I think that deep down you Cowboys fans know that the "Americas Team" B.S. has run it's course and re-living past glories really doesn't accomplish anything. If I were a Dallas fan I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on another Super Bowl as long as Jones is in charge.
And before you ask, yes I'm a Texans fan and we have our own set of problems down here. Not the least of which is our head coach. I'm a Cowboy's fan, and I am not disappointed at all. If you are a smart Cowboys fan, you set the bar VERY LOW at the beginning of the season.that way, you won't be disappointed! I'm just about over them at this point anyhow.

The Cowboys are in for a tough game. Charlie Doesn't matter though....they still have to beat the Eagles. Which they won't....Eagles will win in this years worst NFL game, 5 to 3.

The Cowboys are in for a tough game. Charlie I’m well aware they beat the Seahawks but they also let up 55 points to Tampa bay and certainly haven’t been dominate all year. Texans beat the pats then laid an egg against the Broncos, it’s all week to week. Rams will definitely beat the cowboys
