I've bought a few spotlights in the past and haven't been too thrilled with them. What are y'all using?

I run an old q beam with the 12v cigarette lighter plug, I have a port on my switch panel in the boat. Not the latest and greatest, or 100 million candlepower but it works and it’s been around for 20+ yrs

Probably one of the better ones is the Cyclops 1100 lumen, very small rechargeable but its $100.
Black and Decker 700 or 900 is a very good one also for less than half the price.

Me and all my buddies have switched to the Ultimate Wild spotlights. They're really lightweight with great battery life. And they're based out of Nacogdoches, TX

Why not just use one like your buddy?

You don't like that bigA@@ hardhat with that cord plugged in getting knocked loose by the dog all the time? What a PITA that thing is, lol!

How do they hold up in weather? Pretty water resistant?

I was thinking about it, but it cramps my style a little more then I'd like. Can't be seen looking like a coal miner from the 1900's haha

Have you though about trying one of the newer LED flashlights? They are pretty incredible now and can throw a beam way out over 200 yds.
Many will have focus or twist that you can go from a tight spot to a wider beam.
I have an Orion H30 Predator for hog hunting and just bout a WindFire flashlight in a different color: https://iwindfire.com/collections/all

For the price a WindFire might be worth trying. We use our flashlight for spotting on occasion and it is very easy to hold and use for that purpose.

C'mon. You guys ought to know how cool it is to look like a Macho Man in a hardhat.

Mine is not a hard hat. This is what I use, just got a new bulb. Been using it for 5 years works great, I would like it to be brighter, and cordless would nice but not a big deal, I got 3 prong plug plugs in right behind me, so not in the way.
