Bought one today. Illuminated for the sales deal at 999.00 at store. Great scope. When got home and looked in box there was zero paper work with scope explanation, warranty, and info.
Is this normal? I don’t know what battery goes in it.....not that I care. Just seems like there ought to be some Information about functions. I’ll call tomorrow and ask about it.
Also, this is my first scope that is not .25” per turn on dials. Can some one tell me or direct me to information about movement on turrets.. Really like the scope for a cz 308. Just trying to figure it out. Input much appreciated. thanks .

There are plenty folks on here who can attest to the capabilities of this scope. I just bought one and haven't shot it yet but to answer your question...mine came exactly as you mentioned with "nothing." I believe it's because you got one of the demo models for a deep discount like I did.
Fyi, cr2032 is the battery it requires.

No, none of the SWFA SS riflescopes include PW, with the exception of the non-HD 1-4X24 IR. That is the only SWFA SS product to have ever included any paperwork.

Milradians is different from MOA and considerably different from 1/4”/click. If you want to think of it in inches it is .36”/click @ 100 yards. The mil system is far simpler than moa and really should not be thought of in inches or relation to distance. It’s worth your time to understand the system and how it ties to the reticle you have. Once you have that “aha!” moment you will be very pleased. Someone will be along shortly with good detail. I’ve got that silly work thing.

Thanks for replies. I’ll research and shoot it. I’ll figure it out. It is a fine scope.

Or you could take a shot at the target, measure with your reticle and click the appropriate times. Each hash on the reticle is .5 MIL and each diamond is 1 Mil. Your turrets are .1 MIL per click.

But what happens when a mil is .001 inches ?
Forum says "Veteran Tracker". I could not track a garbage truck into a fireworks factory.

But what happens when a mil is .001 inches ? ^^A tenth Mil is a tenth of that. What is so hard to understand about this? Who gives a crap about inches down range? What does something occupy in the scope? What is the correction to hit ANYTHING at that distance?

The beauty of reliable FFP optics - nobody has to care about inches/meters/etc. any longer. In the words of Jack Nicholson, "I'd rather you just say thank you and went on your way."

tskin, I was sent a document when I asked Skylar about it when I bought my 3-15. I have since bought the 5-20 and already understand. If needed, PM me an email and I'll send that doc. It is almost identical to the 5-20.
Before Jason's last LR match I had not sighted in the new to me 5-20 because it showed up days before. That was the first time I had ever used the reticle to make my adjustments. I used to walk done there and measure. 1 round to find where I was and adjust for that. 2 rounds to confirm. It really is as easy as they say.
