Either in a brick & mortar store in the N. Dallas, Richardson, Plano or Carrollton area or online. Getting ready to have some work done on my daughters car, any suggestions?

I buy car parts from Amazon usually. If you’re a Prime member you just can’t beat it. Locally, I’ll use O’Reilly Auto. There’s also one old school auto parts store on Beach in Fort Worth that is great if I need help finding the right part.

I try to never use AutoZone.

i'll do the dance and say both. no no no no'reilly's is about the best walk-in store for prices. for on-the-line, i search the specific part if you have the time to get it shipped in. all in all, i do my homework and check everywhere, walk in stores and on-the-line

Depends what you need.

Real parts, brakes, radiator, battery, pumps, etc NAPA is my first choice.

Fluids, light bulbs, filters etc Autozone or Walmart

Bolt on stuff, headlight, tail lights, OEM shocks or parts, etc ...online.

If you know specifically what you want, let Google be your friend as you're just price shopping at that point.

I got some Moog tie rod ends for my K5 Blazer from Home Depot of all places, I didn't even know they sold auto parts. Lowest price and they were shipped free.

Vatozone. Yeah they sell a lot of cheap Chinese made stuff, but sometimes you don't need the top tier stuff. NAPA and Advanced is usually way over-priced. Rockauto and Amazon online.

What's wrong with Auto Zone? I don't buy a lot of parts but usually go there out of convenience.

I'll never go back. They give a caller priority over a customer at the counter about to pay out bang Ask me how I know.

I would do this.

My advice is this .
Summit racing (store in Arlington)
Napa
oreilly
In that order....Summit racing sell quality parts and have a lot of US stuff, not all but some. Same goes for Napa. The rest of them are the bottom of the barrel. Its its amazing to see the folks that think there is a many options. The same factories in Tiwayne will make the majority of parts and just stick different labels on them parts.

There’s something weird about AZ parts. Like they’re seconds or something.

Rock auto or Amazon, although I got some counterfeit spark plugs through amazon last year. Amazon makes returns pretty easy if needed
