Not a whole lot of outfitters there for deer, but there are a few. What are you looking for? Trophy deer? Or just deer? Rut hunt?

I’m from Mississippi and there is a vast difference in as little as 50
Miles from terrain to rut timing sometimes.

Anything in the Delta is going to be best chance for a big bodied buck with large antlers. Lots of big bucks killed from mid December to Christmas in west central Mississippi. Most of
Mississippi is made up of privately leased property or public land that has draw hunts.

I’d love to hunt a place like Giles or Tara, but that’s out of my budget. I know people who hunt there though.
