Found a really good deal on one, been itching for a 6.5. Give me a good reason to not buy it.

You won’t have to have a reason, good deals don’t last, it’ll be gone. Excellent rifle, in an excellent caliber, go buy that rifle.

Oh well. Don’t beat yourself up too much. Buds has them going for $678, so it’s 200 bucks. A few years from now an extra $200 won’t matter.

Assuming blued, this is about $100 under Guns Midwest and several other internet sellers. Pretty good deal but watch Eurooptic for closeouts in a few months and you'll be able to beat it.

When deals are good enough that I probably want it, but not sure, my default question becomes, "Can I sell it for what the price is and not lose anything?" If I answer yes, or nearly yes, then I buy it and figure out later if I want to keep it or not. And I do sell a lot of stuff, so it's not like I'm constantly accumulating because I'm too lazy to sell. But taking that approach gives you the opportunity to try out a ton of stuff and keep only what you like best, and to get it at a great price.

I do the same thing, just ordered a couple McMillan stocks a good prices to try out. They may be listed in a couple weeks if I don’t love them.

OP, should’ve jumped on it. Worst thing is to hesitate on a deal like that, then later regret and pay more for the same thing. Ask me how I know..

Agreed - I have my opinion on budget-friendly acquisitions based on lots of experience doing it the wrong way.
