This deer was killed by rifle. When being processed, this was found within.

Wow eeks333 Must not have been in it to long! Did the deer show any signs of possible injury by the way it walked or moved?

Yep. Deer are some tough critters! What part of the meat did you find that in?

That's impressive. Any infection around the arrow?

Poor deer. This is part of why I don't bow hunt. I want every advantage in my favor to make a quick clean kill to minimize suffering. By no means do I look down on those who do, it's just not for me. I can't stand having a sticker bur on my sock, can't imagine the agony of an arrow stuck in my shoulder.

Ive processed deer that had healed over mushroomed up bullets stuck in them.... not to start another argument lol but mostly small caliber type stuff.

I have found parts of arrow shafts, broadheads, bullets and sticks and a broken off antler tip in deer that I have processed. Amazing creatures of what they can survive, heal up from and carry on.
