Read an article on the new Ruger Wrangler 22 pistol. MSRP is $249 and the article said most shops have them at $200.

It has 3 Cerakotina finshes: Silver, all black and Burnt Bronze. It has a 4.62" barrel and fixed sights.

The article said the accuracy was pretty good, he shot 600 rounds of different brands in it.

Being a Ruger and $200, it sounds like a good buy..

I’ve handled a couple. Better quality than the heritage IMO.

Grip is a little small, but it’s a Ruger. I’d trust one

Got one and love it so far. I wanted the burnt bronze just for something different and happened to stumble across one. Grips lack but the single six grips interchange so I will upgrade to a hogue or something. Sights are ok but for a sub 200 pistol it’s a blast.

I haven’t shot it a ton but so far 4 different types of ammo and accuracy is great. Longest I’ve shot was probably 60 yards.

There hasn't been one show up at my LGS, {plug coming}. I'm curious as to how they compare in size and feel of the Single Six. LGS said they can't keep the Wranglers on the shelf, if they even make it there. For $179 they'll hold one for me. I would just like to know more about it before I ask them to do so. I wouldn't want to get there and be "it's not for me".

So I want to plug my LGS. We moved from East of Dallas to the Coastal Bend last year. I had a very hard time finding a store that made me want to do business with them. Then I found Americana Arms in Beeville, TX. Friendly, family owned store with a very wide selection of firearms, very frequent special events, close to internet pricing, and rows of ammo and accessories. They also have a very competent optics and cutlery selection.

Single six is nicer for sure but feel wise it doesn’t feel cheap. Sure it’s cast with cheap plastic grips but a set of grips and you will have a nice 22 for next to nothing.

My BIL got the bronze, the LGS told him bronze was selling 6:1 over the others he had sold.

"Built in the USA to Ruger's quality manufacturing standards"
I wonder who builds it?

Stopped by the above mentioned LGS and they had a black one on the shelf for $171.99. I'm surprised it fits in my Vaquero leather so nicely. can't wait to get it to the range.

I picked on up because it seems like it would be fun and received a lot of positive press. Haven’t made it to the range due to weather, but hopefully soon.
