Texas Hunter Chris making the most of his first international hunt, having only hunted Whitetail deer and hogs before is amazed and the variety of hunting there really is, with Jim Gibson & New Zealand Safaris.

That was a heck of a shot!
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

Hairy animal. Beautiful country.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

So how difficult is it to transport the Trophy back to the USA? Also, the meat? My son works in Wellington, what are the logistics if I were to homebase from there?
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

Horn Slayer trophy wise its pretty straight forward one way or another. As long as I know and we have a spare day we can get the permits sorted for you to take on the plane as luggage at your risk, a big Stag though is hard to get back like that. The normal way is we skin out the animals and drop them off to a full time expeditor where he will boil and salt hides, put in a create and organise shipping back to the closest customs agent to you (Houston is the main one). From there you the box is just like a freight item you can have sent to wherever. As far as wellington that works really well. There a small daily commercial flight (1hr) down to Timaru which is only 35 mins from my lodge, I fly that when I can over to the sates next month works really well and you can get a return for typically under $200.
