My wife has a few all over our house and a few more in what was once my man cave aka home office. Here you go.

I got one. Prettiest dog you ever watched run (and I do mean run) and usually slid to a point.

Best hunter and friend I've ever had. This was an Amarillo Globe News article on dog rescues and featured my long lost buddy TAZ.

A couple Christmases ago, my mother had a local artist paint all of the family dogs as a gift. They all turned out pretty cool. My dogs portrait is hanging in my office.

This is a painting that my friend had done for his red setters. He flew a professional artist in from Utah, and spent two days taking pictures.

I never think to take a good picture of the dogs on point. A few years ago we had six dogs on the ground the last day of season, the sun was setting and we had Bonnie on point next to a tank with 5 dogs backing. No one thought to snap a photo. We stood there and looked at those dogs for 10 minutes talking about how pretty it was before we flushed the covey. That picture is burned into my memory but I wash I had a photo on the wall of it.

I had Kate on the ground by herself pointed on top of a hill with the sun coming up behind her, her first year. My buddy said let me get back in the mule to get my phone to get a picture of this. I said hell no these birds have been running on her. I wish I’d taken the time for a pic.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget what these two points looked like, but it would be nice to have them on the wall.

I never even think to get a picture of my kids while there doing something fun. The pictures come later when they’re holding a dead animal or a mess of fish.

I had dinner with Bob Bertram and a professional photographer at the first Quail Forever national field trial. The photographer said get close then get closer. He went on to say get down, even lay down if you can.
