I text a picture and was all full of myself for getting this buck in my F250 that has a 6” lift. Sent a pic to a friend telling him I still have it and strong as a ox. He replied isn’t that the luggage rack you brought down to make loading much easier?? Yeah kind of forgot about that in the moment.

I learned in Kansas when I always shot my buck and no one was around. Did not have a lifted truck back then.

We have all done something similar.

Most of us did it before we had cameras to (self) document it.

After attempting to load a deer by myself in the rain and mud, falling out of the truck bed, landing on my [censored] on the tailgate and eventually onto the deer on the ground, I built me a hoist for the hitch. My dumbass, while falling, never let go of the deer.

Killed a deer last weekend and almost didnt get it hung by myself. I was stating to worry but finally got it done. He was heavy bastard.

Got a large mgt buck last year, didn’t communicate with my buddies well and had a heckuva time getting that rascal into the truck. Told my family where the lovely frau described me as her declining bull.

My daughter approached me this spring to join her workouts. Told me I needed to work out to continue hunting. I went and bought an electric wench and installed it in the back of the P/U.
