Got back a few days ago from a three day hunt in S Central Kansas. Hunted wild birds on private land, good scenting conditions and really good pheasant and quail crop this year in that part of the state. Feel like we had our best dog work on pheasants in the 18 years I have been going to KS annually (for Texas quail dogs anyway smile ) with close to half the roosters pointed...lots of young birds this year helped for sure. Limited out two of the three days. Most coveys were 15+ birds. Enjoy

How close to Mullinville? That's where I do my Kansas hunting, but haven't been this year.
