Why are they looking at back ground checks and are not enforcing the laws already on the books . Making mental health care a issue that needs to be dealt with. Guns are not the problem.

Because the ultimate goal is as much gun control as possible to the point it isn’t feasible to own a gun (financially or regulations), or they outright ban them.. Their game is simple, make a rule that wasn’t ever going to work in the first place, then piss and moan until you can make another one the moment it doesn’t work.

As I have said here many times, they will do it with taxes. It will start with one cent per round in order to get people used to it. Then it will be five cents, them ten cents, then a dollar, then..... (Reloading supplies will not be overlooked)

Want to effectively limit gun use? Drive the taxes up to $10./round.
"It doesn't matter - real hunters only use a few rounds per year."
"Nobody really needs a huge ammo supply like 100 rounds unless they are planning a mass shooting"

Think that can't happen? It won't require changing a single gun law and doesn't need to go to court.
It will all be totally constitutional and "not anti second amendment at all."
Once the Local, State and Federal governments see the huge untapped revenue stream, the taxes will really skyrocket. Middle of the road legislators will want that money too.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

I really hope 100 rounds isn’t considered a huge supply to anyone.

I am thinking that you don't listen to statements from some of our legislators and the mainstream press?

I recall a TV reporter gasping about a report of 1,500 rounds being found in a residence. They were asking if the bomb squad was brought in to safely remove it. The useful idiots are out there and growing in numbers.

With so many Californians moving to Texas, I am constantly amazed at how many adults that I meet who are afraid of guns - simply because they haven't been around them. A little time with a .22 produces some big smiles and very often results in a new gun owner.

This is a rhetorical question, right?

There was a time when I owned only one gun. I would buy only as much ammo as I immediately needed. I would shoot three rounds to confirm zero, and one shot to take my deer. A box of 20 rounds of .270 would last me 5 years. Back then, I probably thought 100 rounds was a pretty good stockpile.

a global agenda of destroying America’s sovereignty by confiscating citizens’ guns
