My youngest son brought a buddy from work out to the ranch this weekend to hunt hogs. He's a country boy from KS and is not enjoying the big Big D! He's dad drove down from central KS to hunt hogs for the first time. Man oh man did I put them on the hogs. They had a great time and helped thin some hogs out for me.

He owns 400+ acres in KS and said he place is thick with deer. He's invited us up for next season. We'll be putting in for our tags right after the first of the year. I've only hunted KS once a few years ago, my buddy got a nice 140 class, I didn't see anything I wanted to pull the trigger on. Dang they have some big bodied deer up there.

Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

I understand! I didn't take any pics except for the ones where my son's friend pop skinned and quartered the hogs without gutting them. Pretty slick trick as I had never seen it before.

Nice! We do that when we have multiple animals down. Deer and hogs.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
