 My 7 year old's first deer! Super proud dad! With Video

Tyler got it done this afternoon!! Yesterday morning I spotted this guy on my game camera via my phone checking out the estrus drip I set up, so yesterday afternoon we rattled and this buck showed up about a minute later! I am super proud of my 7 year old! He made sure to wait for a good shot, and his breathing was on point, even in the heat of the moment, and dropped this low fenced 11 point in its tracks! I am so happy I had the Tactacam FTS on the gun. Not only did it record this unforgettable moment, but I was able to see, live, what he was seeing thru the scope and help guide him to make sure he made a clean and good shot! And a good shot is what he made!!! Yup, good one there. He may need to help you with some shooting tips JT. His sight picture was slightly less shaky than some of yours.

Nice buck and congrats to the little dude!
In the future you may have him wait to shoot until the deer is clear of the feeder. I understand your shooting lanes are tight but a lot can happen with a 7 yo (or 35yo) shooting a deer behind the feeder, but this one was good.

Are you sure JT, between his license and yours, a lot more tags "to burn" I don’t burn tags. I fill them, and if he wants to hunt 4 more deer we will hunt 4 more deer in different places. Then we will donate the meat. If you don’t like it too bad.
