The rule of unintended consequences has bit me on the butt. Probably it isn’t specifically my fault, but I know I’ve contributed to it. And what “it” is, is that everybody is out of stock on that bullet. I’ve bragged on it - accuracy and effectiveness - but from comments on various forums it would seem that everyone is BC fixated and buying 140 grainers. So...I kind of thought that this bullet and I were under the radar, but apparently they sell like hot cakes. I got caught by this a few years ago, but didn’t learn diddly.

So you folks need to keep buying the 140’s and leave me and my 120’s alone.

I was there Friday too...saw they got in 2 8lb of Reloder 26 while I was there. I stocked up on 300 PRC and 6.5 PRC brass while I was there.

I finally just went on the Nosler site and put myself down for notification when the make a new batch, and Bass Pro is sending me a box of 50. I guess I’m Ok for now, but thanks for looking.

Might call Van’s in the morning...

If you run in to a pinch, let me know. I think I have a box or 2.

Thanks Scott, but I’m Ok. I shoot a lot every now and then, and I can just switch over to already loaded 100 gr BT ammo if I get a bit low on the 120’s. Truth is, the 100’s kill deer and hogs just as well as the 120’s, and they will destroy a coyote.

I love Nosler Ballistic Tips for hunting. Very reliable killers. Nosler has really dialed them in over the years. Like you said, many are overly consumed with BC nowadays.

I called Van’s, and after a long frustrating conversation with a guy who was hard of hearing, bought the 3 remaining boxes of the 120’s. When the billing ladies took over, things went better. And, since I grew up in that general area of the world (on the Louisiana side), that soft west central Mississippi accent the ladies had sounded good to my ears.

I grew up in Waterproof, Louisiana, which is about 25 miles north of Natchez. Not much left of the town these days. I’ve been gone from there for so long that my brothers and sisters have accents, so I guess mine is more Texas now.

I grew up about 15 miles from Van's so I know what you mean..... I pretty much still have a Mississippi accent but have lost a little drawl I guess.
Van's while not the cheapest place to buy has big inventory of reloading especially Hornady products. They had for example primers when no one else had any at all.

Thanks Longtine, but I’m restocked with the bullets from Van’s. I also have/had an order with Bass Pro that I probably won’t ever get. I originally ordered 4 boxes (200 bullets Total). They sent weekly emails that the order had been delayed. Then they cancelled 3 of the boxes. So now I just keep getting emails about that last box, knowing that I’ll never get them. I’d cancel the order, but sorta want to see how long they’ll drag this out.
