Saw this fawn today. It is very red colored and still has very prominent bright white spots. Ive never seen one look like this so late in the year. Was this just a VERY late born fawn or what?

Yepped, dropped late. I just saw one here in the Canyon Lake area about a week ago that looked like it was about a week old. Also, I was surprised to see one with some red left and distinct spots in my backyard today.

Retired!

I’ve seen a few in oct but don’t recall November.
IIRC, Spots last 90-120 days and a gestation period of 200 days? So back that up and conception happened around end of February, first of March? That’s pretty crazy.

I've seen several in South Tx (Duval county) and a few in North TX (Trinity county) so far this November.
