I am in need of a stock tank contractor recommendation. I have a 320 acre ranch in the Hill Country with only one current stock tank on it. I do not have the time nor equipment to do the work myself right now. This past summer I did not go completely dry in the tank nor the creek, but I feel I need to expand to make certain that I do not ever go completely dry. Any trusted recommendations would be greatly appreciate.

Property split by Llano and Blanco. Tank will be on Llano side.

Dorn Smith. Fredericksburg. I don’t have contact information. You can probably call ASCS office there. Him and his son do top notch dozer work.

James D. Reeh and his son Dennis from Comfort also do very good work. We used them for a couple of years in Kendall County in the early 90's to do road and tank work. Very honest small town folks. Not sure if James is still working or retired now but his son was the last time I talked to him.

might give Jimmy Decker a call in Llano 325-247-9446, he will likely know someone in the area that does good work.

You are close to our ranch. We are a little south of Llano County (1/2 mile) but in Blanco County. Jimmy Decker is a good resource for good local contractors in Llano County. In Blanco County, I would recommend Lindig Construction in Johnson City. I've seen a lot of his work and he is an artist with land, roads and rocks. He has a lot of big equipment and good crews. His business number is 830-868-4864. Another is Bradley Nielson. He works out of Gillespie County but does go to other counties. 830-889-2649. Another one out of Gillespie County is Moellering Construction from Fredericksburg. I don't have a number but if you Google it, it should come up. All of the ones mentioned above in the threads are good contacts.

What county road are you on?

Thank you so much for the contacts. I already have one contractor coming out on Monday from Fredericksburg but I will reach out to a couple more just to make certain it equates to honest pay for honest work.
