I heard some beautiful words yesterday from the wife after she saw the picture. "You going to try and get him, you need to try and get him. We can leave Friday morning if you want." I have a feeling there is more to this but if I can get to see that buck it'll be worth it.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

I get to go check this guy out tomorrow. My buddy said the rut has kicked in and my wife has family that decided to come visit this weekend. That means I have tomorrow through Saturday to get a good look at him.

I saw him one evening at 42 yards in 4 days. He just isn't old enough. He's got to be best 3.5 year old I've ever seen on my place. He could be 4.5 but I doubt it. So hard not to poke him with a sharp stick.  If he makes it 5.5 he is going to be a brute.
