Fixed the wife an Omelette first used 1 1/2 pieces of Bacon inside and gave her 3 more on the side (no pic of hers).
Mine 2 1/2 on the inside, plus whats outside grin Poured out excess grease and wiped the pan clean for next Sunday.

This pic below is minus 4 1/2 pieces used on the wifes.

How do you get your bacon pan to wipe out that clean? Mine always cooks on some nasty black sticky stuff in the bottom. Am I running the burner too hot? Is it the kind of bacon? Is it too much sugar in the bacon cure?

Im using a well seasoned cast iron skilled, seasoned with lard.

Just curious Stub - why the eggs in a teflon pan instead of the cast iron? Looks awesome though!

Sunday I asked my 2 granddaughters what they wanted
for breakfast and the answer was “bacon”. When asked what
they wanted with their bacon they said “nothing, just more bacon “.

So I cooked 1-1/2 lbs of bacon and we had bacon for breakfast.
Everybody was happy.

I heat my pan before I put the bacon in and when I am done there is usually some brown stuff stuck on the bottom. With all of the bacon grease still in there I take my plastic spatula and scrape it off. Then I simply wipe it with paper towels.

Cast would be the one to ask on what is really the right way.

I was scared roflmao

I have never fixed an omelette in a cast iron and was concerned it would not fold very easily. Next time I will use it for that non stick pan was actually to big and I have a small cast iron that should work.
