This is quite normal for the USSC, it's WAY to early for them to get involved in this issue. It's not the USSC's job to shield gun makers.

One of two things will happen:

1) They'll now move forward with a lawsuit and WIN in the lower courts - at which time the USSC will end up taking the case and reversing more bad rulings from lower courts; OR

2) They'll now move forward with a lawsuit and LOSE in the lower courts - and then the USSC doesn't have to do anything at all.

USSC takes on a very limited number of cases, they don't have time to quash every dumb lawsuit before it gets started. They're a court of LAST resort.
