My Dad shot a pretty buck on our little lease. I was sure happy for him. It was his best buck he’s shot in several years. Where abouts is that? Have anymore pictures? Could be the picture, or just me, but I kind of see hints of mule deer in that face.

Great looking buck, congrats to your dad! I still remember the last hunt I had with my Dad. Wished I had done more hunts with in the later years than I did. Some very mature bucks (6+) get a face like a mule deer in some areas. Hill Country areas seem to get more than others.

Great buck. No forks in tines like a mule deer but does have a resemblance of one.
