I wanna swap the trigger on my dpms lr308 the factory trigger is really stiff probably over 5 lbs or something, but I know nothing on aftermarket triggers, any recommendations on a decent trigger? It's no competition rifle so I wouldnt wanna spend crazy money on a really high end trigger just something that feels better than stock thanks in advance

I’ve used JP Enterprises “yellow” spring kit on each of my AR’s, and for the $10 I’ve been very happy.

CMC or Timney. Both are great triggers. Easy install.

I recently got two LaRue MBT-2S triggers. They are around $90 and I like both of them quite well. I also have a Geissele SSA. If I were ordering a trigger today, it would likely be another LaRue.

X3, or the geissele DMR if you can swing it.

I got the ssa-e match 2 stage. 2lb on first stage 9oz on the second. It's an impressive trigger but expensive, even on sale. Recently bought a CMC flat shoe 2.5 lb trigger, after 10 pulls on my scale average was just a little over two pounds. I'm impressed enough that the cmc went on sale at primary arms last week and I bought another for my 7-08 assembly.

Also, the CMC is a drop in versus the two piece install...slightly easier install too.

Wilson Combat TTU single stage
I have tried just about every other one on the market
ZERO creep, crisp break and short and positive reset
My 10 year old one feels just like one that is a year old
I have 4 or 5, they all feel exactly the same irregardless of use
