Thanks. It made my day but it is not the first fight I have photographed here. I have seen around 15 or so over the last 7 yrs now. I think I saw 4 or 5 last year I took pics of. My area of the county is 1 buck to 2 does as of the last WMA area survey late this summer. I usually run more bucks than does on my blind/stand counts from October till end of Jan. Last years count was 1.57 bucks per doe on my small place and I have only had one year in the 7 where I saw more does than bucks. I shoot does and have since 2012 when I bought this place. If I had not killed any does my ratio would be skewed the other way or more in line with the surveys for this area.

3 differant occasions have bucks fighting on trail cam's...

I've only seen that once in all my years of hunting. I never realized just how violent a real buck fight can get. Once it was over I was just sitting there jaw-dropped...these pics really brought back the memory.

When is your rut normally in full swing? What is your general location? I've never hunted the area I'll be in, and have no idea when the rut goes on.

I've seen a number of these fights in s. tx. and not only do other bucks come to investigate but also opportunistic coyotes looking for a weakened, tired animal for an easy (or at least less difficult) kill. It's a wonder we don't lose more mature bucks to these battles.
These type fights also bring to realization that man has no chance whatsoever to recreate the sound of these battles with a set of rattling horns.

Western Goliad County and rut usually is in full swing the week prior to Thanksgiving but can start around the 15th of Nov.

Really? From a guy who can't remember to bring his rangefinder then forgets his ammo? You should have left both at home on that wide one a couple of days ago "Swing and a Miss"
