Figured I would come a day early to the property and maybe catch something off guard. I have not been out here since opening weekend.
it’s like day light outside at 5am
Walking to my blind I walked up on a damn skunk! I startled it but I froze!!!!!
It didn’t move much more. I got to my stand ( all I know it was a deer ) probably a doe however it started blowing.
She started walking away blowing for 20 minutes.
I got in blind and she was still blowing maybe 130 yards away.
Very cold , still and it’s bright as hell.
Hoping to see something this weekend

Good luck! I'll be sitting at least by tomorrow morning, hoping the big boy comes home and didn't get whacked on his walkabout. I think that is the hope for all of us. I should be going next weekend and I definitely have this hope.
