I built a new 7.62x39 upper at a total cost of $134.99 earlier this year. Nearly everyone who saw the price and the company I ordered the parts from seemed to think at that it wouldn't shoot. I beg to differ. I load 123 grain Hornady Interlocks and also SSTs. I was using the Interlocks that I shot the 5 shot group above with.

Nice placement of the shot! I have hunted with mine several times. It shoots minute-of-pig with all ammo, I also shoot the Hornaday interlocks, also have some Zombie Max loaded that have taken several hogs. Most of my shots are under 100 yards.

Thanks guys, I am pleased with the accuracy from this 16" upper. That shot was 107 yards. I bought the parts from Davidson Defense.
