I want to get some suggestions about what gloves ya'll are using during the very cold days. I have everything from winter weather football gloves to deerskin leather with a silk liner. I do not like thick gloves but like my hands to say warm.

I've always wondered about those football gloves. Watching.

Gripswell. Insulated. These are great. I can use them down to 15 deg and use double trigger guns. And I am a skinny dude who gets cold easily

Soft deer or elk skin that are not tight but fit well. Uninsulated unless it is below zero. I got the deer skin at tractor supply and the elk skin at Cabela’s. I like the uninsulated deer skin gloves from tractor supply best and they are what I wear most.

Only problem I have with deer or elk hide gloves is the dye used. It stains my hands when the gloves get wet. Takes a few days for the yellow dye to wear off.

Glacier Gloves are the best and have varying insulation levels.

In dog beers, I've only had one.

i will sometimes wear the Filson finger-less wool gloves. I will always cut the trigger finger end off if I wear leather.

I use Mechanic's Gloves. They work OK. Keep cold off. But they can snare on twigs and such so you have to watch it. But they are cheap enough I can buy a pair every year if need be. Kinda like these

I've been using these for the past two seasons.
They are fairly inexpensive, very nimble and keep the cold off your hands in temps down to about freezing. Below that you need heavier.

For decades I wore GI issued wool glove liners with leather covers. The added poly glove liners. As my circulation went to hell in a handbasket, I switched to insulated mittens instead of the leather covers.

One of the secrets is to keep your hands dry, any sweat instantly turns to cold hands. The poly or silk glove liners wick the moisture off your hands into the wool keeping the hands dry. The second secret is to have loose fitting gloves to allow good blood circulation.
