Went out this am. No birds, no wind. Then we started seeing high flyers. From 730 to 830 thousands pushed in. They were in front of the wind coming w this front. Huge clouds of ducks were pushing in. We left around 9. We saw ducks still coming in at 930. They were rafting up on the actual lake. I may try later i dunno. Def going in the am again.

Well I went out for the last hour and a half last yesterday and what did I see? The two recent resident grebes and 1 hawk. Literally those were ALL the birds I saw in the skies around my 4-acre pond in Grayson County. Even birds didn't want to deal with that wind I guess.

Sounds about like my evening, went and hunted this morning, killed a few, saw a decent number of birds but nothing insane. Wondering if the full moon last night kept them down

This morning was really slow north of Whitesboro. Heard a few shots to the north of us but, nothing like Sunday. We didn't have a single bird fly over us and only a few of the tanks on our property had any birds. I'm new to duck hunting and believed the front would have pushed more birds south towards us. Guess it pushed the birds in the area south instead.
