Just thought I would share this trail cam pic of a bobcat. Exceptionally large and beautifully marked. San Saba county.[Linked Image]

Not impossible, because they do inhabit some counties in S. Texas, but this is 100% a bobcat as you can tell by the ears and tail.

Correct. No one thought it was an actual Ocelot (they look completely different), just remarking that the SPOTS are very well defined like that of an Ocelot.

In the Late 70's in Austin...they still had the Boat Races on Town Lake, it was quite a big event and attracted a large crowd. There was a lady there one year that had a pet Ocelot and was walking it around on a leash. Beautiful animal.

The Ocelot would let you pet it...but if you stopped...it would grab your hand with both paws (the lady forewarned) and you were NOT going to get away. Eventually...it would let you go. They are bigger (taller and longer) than you might imagine.

I just got pics this morning right under my feeder of a cat that looks like that too. Best spots I’ve ever seen on a cat. Hope the both of us can get em!
