Go with an 8 foot door. I hate short doors Man, I sat there and debated that. 8' goes better with the top of those windows. 8' is more likely to give some trouble hanging and lets in more bad weather when it is opened. If I keep the 6' 8" door, it is getting a window above it. Because your design facks with my OCD, I would’ve taken out the window to the left of the door and installed glass 8 foot French doors. Well you don't get a say armchair quarterback, so STFU with your recommendations. You would be putting a doorway walking right into an island. And you don't know that, because you didn't design it, and have put in zero minutes building it. I got it. I didn't hire someone else to build this for me, like you have, that's why it's in the DIY section.

Love the roof. SS is the best type of metal roof...we'll all be in the next world when that needs replacing.
I said that once, a year later and 30 minutes of golf and tennis balls falling out of the sky made it look like the back of a fat gals leg.

Oh, BTW, ALL of the doors will be 8' tall. So, I need to grind the welds on that one header and move it up. I just had to look at that one for a few days. I picked this for the front doors, because I want a giant front door opening to get furniture and appliances into the house.
