Was curious if anyone has seen any Sandhill Cranes in and around the Carrizo Springs (Dimmit County), or surrounding area yet?

Thanks! This is the time of year I usually start to hear some and see a few...in about a month it gets to be a bit more common to have them in pastures.

Saw a group either Saturday or Sunday, can't remember. It was either Whitney or Italy.

Buddy of mine, used to visit this forum often, said he's heard them north of Dallas. Said they appear to be here in good numbers.

I didn't think they left the panhandle.
