Looking for a reputable and trustworthy trainer in the Houston area for my new lab pup. Only at 9 weeks but I know it's hard to get in with some trainers without advance communication and I'm looking for the best. Sole use will be as a waterfowl gun dog. If anyone can offer recommendations, personal experiences, etc. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

https://hiddenlakeretrievers.com/ He's located just north of Lake Conroe. Not "close" to Houston but one of the best in SE Texas.

Chad Radt with Lucky 7 Retrievers. He puts the hours in everyday and does a lot of young dog work. 813.469.7752

All good options above. Brad Beaulieu at Saltgrass Retrievers is a great guy as well. He always has nice dogs. He is in Winnie.
