I don’t think that would work so well. Seems that the air fryer would just cook the meat until it a dry and burnt.

I get that part, but some of them have a dehydrator built in them also. Wondered if the extra cost would be worth having the fryer or just getting a dedicated dehydrator. Sorry I didn't ask the question properly.
