Only got to hunt opening morning so my time this weekend was limited. Lots of does and a few good bucks running around but they're not really chasing yet. I passed on a mature 8pt that was broken off on one side just past the brow tine. Nice deer but not this year. My brother was able to take his first axis. We had to search for this guy for about an hour before we found him. We're not kids anymore but it sure was good to see the look on my little brother's face when I stumbled on this deer.
