So for whatever reason we arent seeing as many deer.. very frustrating. So trying to do some thinking on how what to offer them to maybe get more around.. What has been working best for yall as far as food plots, etc...we are over on the west side of gatesville close to Lampasas county line

If you have oaks in the area dropping acorns there isn't much you can do but hunt the acorns.
Be patient, when the acorns are no longer viable deer will come back to corn.
Planting a food plot now would be a waste of time, with perfect rainfall it'll take 2 - 4 weeks to have anything that would make a decent draw. Without perfectly timed rain might not come up at all or way too late to make a difference.
Won't hurt to try the corn / roasted soybean mix, just dump a couple lbs on the ground in a few places to see if they like it before filling a feeder.

Where I hunt the bucks couldn’t care less about my provided food sources.
1. Don’t panic.
2. Hunt trails, tracks, natural food.
3. Bag of salt helped me one year.

Trophy rock / bio rock and the like, it's a natural rock containing mostly salt with trace minerals, or some folks dump out cow/livestock salt or white salt block for cattle or rock salt.
In my opinion you want to avoid iodized salt / table salt.

They have acorns and green browse so what you feed don’t matter until it does.........in the meantime except for the salt Roll tide gave you a game plan.

No bucks coming to feeders or food plots here either. All 4 bucks we've seen were cruising for doe. Don't panic.

Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
