If you had an opportunity to buy some hunting land for personal use, fairly small parcel of about 50-100 acres, would you look in Texas hill country area (Rocksprings, llano, mason) area or south Texas (Alice , San Diego, George west) area. I live in San Antonio which is directly between both. Thanks

Both are great areas. Can't say that I have hunted south Texas though. I would say look for the one that meets what you are looking for. Do not settle or you will regret it.

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

Small place - North, North west.
Like the area in a general circle between 10 east to 77, 77 north to 84, 84 west to 16, 16 south to 10.
Plenty big area to be able to find a good / reasonable deal & acreage.
Will be more expensive, in my opinion worth every penny.
