The older boy is my buddy’s son. He shot the deer at daylight. When he walked down to get his deer the hog walked up at 10 feet. He told me he couldn’t see it in the scope, he pointed at his head and shot him rifleman style.

The snake was even more fun. A buddy crawled into an old cellar and the snakes were denned up in there. He threw the big one out and my boy cut its head off with a hoe. Lots of rattling in the cellar. You couldn’t pay me to go in there. Same buddy used to crawl down in cisterns when we were kids and throw rattlers up the hole to sell.

Fisher county bucks have some big bodies. I’ll bet this bastard weighed 200 on the hoof.
