 Hunten ? The sun tis slowly slipping, wind-chill tis a rizing... Had short bb size hail.. Eagle landed roughly 100yrds away at edge of lake... Set up tis off trail leading to a huge scrape... Took a couple of pheasants earlier today.. Dog got inta fight with a big coon... Coon got some lead poisoning, dog tis doing okay... Just sitting in woods enjoying the day... Keep your head held high & your powder dry...

Sounds like a good evening. I’m going after mule deer starting tomorrow but will be after the whitetails week after next.
Will be the first WT opening day I have missed since I went on my first deer hunt 48 years ago.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

 . Best Wish's. Ended up seeing 5 deer toltal...  3 with in 25yards just no shooting lane... Keep your head held high & your powder dry...
