Who makes the best 16mp camera for around $70? I've had good luck with wildgame innovations, will not buy a stealth camera ever again. Other than that, what do you recommend?

A little over $70, but i've had excellent luck with Brownings. The link below has one on sale for $84. I always wait until around this time of year to order because they put a bunch on sale when the new latest and greatest ones come out for the new season.

B&H Photo has these for $89 delivered or $80 from several Amazon dealers.

Hope you do too, but the two I have give me terrible pictures. It's weird, they're not necessarily grainy or pixelated, but distorted I guess. And they're not user friendly at all.

This is my biggest complaint about the Stealth cams that my dad has.

I've had good luck with Stealth. YMMV.

They were cheaper the other day, but this is what I added. The rival 20 lightsout and the mirage 18 lightsout.

They both take pretty good pics, especially for a camera under $100, and they're extremely user friendly.

I have always had good luck with Bushnell Trophy Cams. They have just about phased them out, so I ordered 4 of them from Walmart.com today. 20 MP. $74 each plus tax - free shipping so total was just under $300.

3 years from now I’ll wish I had ordered a dozen....

Cuddebak. Because they are easy to set and they work

+1 for Browning; we've had about half a dozen in our hunting group for awhile now and they were affordable, have good image quality, and have lasted multiple seasons (which is saying a lot for a game camera)

Hey guys, don't get too hung up on the MP count with the game cameras. Check the stats on the sensor for a true MP size count. Most trail cameras have a smaller sensor size and software that tells the camera to multiply each pixel. Also remember, the camera is using a plastic lens normally less than 1/2 inch in diameter. They are like the cellphone cameras, the image looks great on your computer or phone. But try to make a print of the image and they fall apart.

Just find one that gives you a halfway decent image on your computer, long battery life, and a decent lifespan.
