Well this frigid front brought single digit temps for at least 2 days now and the lines of geese and other waterfowl have been constant last 2 days. We're " froze up " now and I'm thinking SE Colorado is the same. You all should have new ducks and geese in the panhandle at least in next few days.
We watched honkers and small groups of snows flying over while picking up my sheep skull at the taxi.
Hoping to see pics of limits soon. Enjoy the hunting.
We warm back up above freezing next few days but the water will stay frozen I believe , pronghorn are even starting to migrate through our little wintering area north of town.

Was on 40 today at the texas new Mexico area. Every tank was holding ducks and good numbers too. Got to see clusters of ducks hitting a corn feild just outside of tucumcari. Really good to see em this am.

Went to check my farm pond and it was holding 50+ ducks. That front really brought them in. Bunch of gaddys, teal, and ringnecks. The refuge a mile away was stacked with ducks. Most were pintails and green heads. Looks like it might be a good year!

Im hearing a front this weekend is going to push most of the waterfowl out of the Canada Prairie and head them this way. Hope they get here for opening day and not fly straight to the coast.

It's not the front this weekend, it was the one that already came through. If there's one this weekend up there though it'll probably push the rest out though.
